Composition

Each 100 gm contains:

Tetramethrin                0.6 gm

Piperonyl butoxide       2.4 gm

 Pharmacological actions:

Licid Spray Contains 0.6 % of Tetramethrin which is a synthetic pyrethroid which has a quick activity and a strong killing effect on lice and these effects are accelerated by the addition of the synergist 2.4 % Piperonyl butoxide  which enhance the efficiency  of tetramethrin to obtain a prolonged insecticidal action. Furthermore the preparation is presented in a special oil base which is not harmful for scalp, hair and skin.

Licid spray is safe for it dose not contain any kerosene as a solvent.

Indications:

Licid lotion Special for killing and protection against lice. which are tiny insects that can infest and irritate the scalp (head lice).

Dosage and Administration:

– Fix the plastic nozzle (which inside the box) to actuator of the valve & press down as in diagram.

-For maximum efficiency, it is important to saturate the spray into the mass of the hair

(For head lice) and the scalp.

– spray in sprouts, changing frequently the place of aim until the whole area that is to be treated is completely saturated.

-After one hour from treatment, hair should be well washed with soap or shampoo.

-To detach the dead parasites comb hair with a fine-toothed comb.

-Repeat the treatment twice weekly for one month.

-For preventive treatment rub a small quantity on the hair once every 3 days.

– To prevent the infestation, it is important to disinfect the contaminated cloth dy spraying them with licid at a distance of about 20 cm.

Side effects:

May occur Skin irritation. If this effect persists or worsens, till your doctor or pharmacist.

Precautions & warning:

-Avoid applying Licid Spray to the eyes, nose, on the wounds or on the mucous membrane. If it gets in these areas, rinse with plenty of water.

-If applying this product to an infant, cover the infant’s hands and feet after applying licid to make sure this product does not get in the infant’s mouth.

-Apply this drug in an area with good air flow (e.g., near an open window).

-Used during pregnancy when clearly needed, but not known whether licid passes into breast milk.

– Wash the hands well after use.
